In Sumy, search and rescue operations continue for the third day at the site where a Russian drone struck a five-story building. Three casualties of the Russian attack are known.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that the State Emergency Service workers have dismantled the damaged and emergency building structures and slabs.
The rescuers suspended operations for the night, but resumed debris removal in the morning, as reported by "TSN Online." There may still be people under the rubble of the collapsed building. However, there is almost no chance that they will be found alive. After all, after the drone strike, the four floors of the building simply collapsed, and the fire raged in the ruined apartments for nearly two days.
In the first days after the Russian UAV hit, the bodies of three deceased people were recovered from the rubble. However, a 20-year-old girl may be trapped under the debris, her relatives say.
Currently, it is known that 14 residents of the building were injured. Four of the injured are still in the hospital in a moderate condition.
