Russian forces have managed to advance and seize three settlements in Zaporizhzhia region.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said this.
He reported increased enemy activity in Zaporizhzhia, with occupiers trying to exploit dense fog to move between Ukrainian positions.
“A difficult situation has developed in the Oleksandrivka and Huliapole sectors, where the enemy, enjoying numerical superiority, fought fiercely and captured three settlements,” Syrskyi said.
He added that Ukraine’s Grouping of Troops "South" is engaged in heavy fighting for Rivnopillia and Yablukove.
According to Syrskyi, the highest intensity of fighting is currently observed on the Pokrovsk front — about 40% of all clashes in the past day occurred there.
Ukrainian forces are expanding the effective use of domestically produced long‑range precision weapons, including Neptune and Flamingo missiles and strike drones. These attacks are inflicting significant losses on the enemy and complicating its logistics and operations.
