The Russian foreign minister once again called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a “Nazi” and restated the conditions for resolving the conflict.
Russian media report this.
Lavrov claimed that Zelenskyy “demonstrated his Nazism through his actions” and that “there is no evidence to the contrary.”
“When Zelenskyy regularly appears on television handing awards to Azov fighters and other so‑called Nazi battalions wearing insignia of fascist Germany — how else can one regard this man,” claimed the Russian diplomat.
He also commented on Russia’s conditions for ending the war, insisting that Ukrainians “know perfectly well the Russian position.”
“Among the mandatory conditions for settlement are demilitarization, removal of threats to Russia — including attempts to draw Ukraine into NATO — and guarantees of rights for Russians, Russian‑speakers, and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Another requirement is denazification. This is not out of place in modern Europe,” Lavrov said.
