The Russian Federation continues its full-scale military invasion into Ukraine.
The enemy has started the major offensive in the Eastern Operational Zone in attempt to defeat the Ukrainian Joint Force units, achieve full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions and secure the overland route to annexed Crimea, according to the daily report released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on April 25th.
Russian troops are launching missile and bomb strikes on military and civil infrastructure facilities from strategic bombardment aircrafts, warships and submarines. The enemy attempts to destroy the logistic routes used for deliveries of weapon aid provided by Western partners. Therefore, the strikes are primarily focused on railway and other major logistic hubs.
Meanwhile, the invaders are enhancing their long-range anti-aircraft defense system through deployment of additional surface-to-air missile launchers delivered from Russia and building-up the stocks of ammunition, hardware and special engineer equipment.
The Russian commanders are still looking for new ways to make up the military personnel losses and refill the ranks of military units actively participating in combat operations.
