Foreign components are found in "fresh" Russian missiles despite Western sanctions — the Air Force
Hostile missiles are found to contain numerous components of foreign origin, which Russia cannot produce on its own territory.
Foreign components are found in Russian missiles
Missiles and drones used by Russia to strike Ukraine contain foreign components, despite the imposition of numerous sanctions worldwide against this.
Yuriy Ignat, Spokesperson of the Ukrainian Air Force, revealed this on August 17 during a telethon broadcast.
According to him, specialists of research centers work with debris from Russian missiles. They analyze the equipment they find inside enemy missiles. In particular, there, experts discover many components of foreign origin, the production of which could not be established in Russia.
"Western countries and manufacturers have been shown that here is the missile, here is the drone, here is the spare part, here is the company that makes it. Unfortunately, such components continue to somehow reach the occupying country. We are not only talking about 'Shaheds', but also about other military goods that Russia continues to manufacture," Ignat stated.
"He emphasized that many missiles, helicopters, and planes coming off the assembly line in Russia require modern technologies that are not available within the country itself.
"Russia lacks these technologies today and the manufacturing capabilities to create them on their own. Therefore, sanctions need not only to be announced but also to be monitored, adhered to, and influenced collectively by all world leaders who can have an impact," Ignat emphasized.
