"No need to encourage murderers with horrible indulgences": Podolyak commented on NATO's statement

To abandon the territories in exchange for NATO “umbrella” is strange. In this way, we will encourage the Russians to continue aggression.

Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Office Mykhailo Podolyak wrote about it in his Twitter post. 

"So, consciously accepting the defeat of democracy, encouraging a global criminal, preserving the Russian regime, destroying international law, and inevitably transferring the war to future generations. Because why Russia without losing, has to voluntarily abandon provocations, hybrids, traditional behavior?" - Podolyak states.

"Putin's triumph will not bring the world peace"

If Putin does not suffer a devastating defeat, the political regime in Russia will not change, and military criminals will not be punished, the war will necessarily return with increased appetites of Russia.

According to Podolyak, attempts to preserve the world order and establish a "bad peace", let's say it plainly, through the triumph of Putin will not bring peace to the world but will bring shame and war. This applies to any formats of a new 'distribution of Europe,' including with the NATO umbrella.

"So why then propose a scenario desired by Russia for freezing instead of accelerating the supply of weapons? There's no need to encourage murderers with horrible indulgences..." – stated the Presidential Office advisor.
