The Ukrainian military needs about 10 million artillery shells per year.

Military expert, reserve major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hetman said this on the air of the joint telethon.

"Our military says that for comfortable work with artillery, we need 10 million per year... I think that if we had at least 2 or 1.5 million shells per year from warehouses of various suppliers, it would be around 4,100 shots per day on average across the entire front line. In general... that would be a conditional parity. It would be better with 3 million, to have 7-8 thousand shots. The Russians are doing 10 thousand shots and more, but their accuracy is not high," Oleksiy Hetman emphasized.
