How the Armed Forces of Ukraine can liberate Crimea: the expert announced the plan
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will create conditions for the liberation of Crimea occupied by Russia.
The inevitability of the liberation of the Ukrainian peninsula captured by Russia in 2014 has come closer in time. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, suggested that Ukraine may use some unexpected methods to liberate Crimea from Russian occupation.
In an exclusive interview with TSN.ua, military observer, reserve major and veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Oleksiy Hetman, told what kind of means it could be.
"If he says about unexpected methods, then, most likely, it can be unexpected for us as well. So far it is known that we have not been given long-range missile technology by our partners, so there is a certain distance that we can hit with what we have now. But our self-made UAVs can fly at a distance of more than a thousand kilometers, and there was even information that they can fly at a distance of up to 3 thousand kilometers. In addition, we saw how surface unmanned floating devices worked, which attacked certain ports in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Therefore, most likely, Danilov meant that these would be massive attacks by our UAVs. It's hard to imagine what else it could be. There is artillery, there are MLRS and there are certain distances at which they can hit the enemy. UAVs are our longest-range weapons. It is not so powerful, these flying machines can carry small explosives. But they can fly very far. Most likely, we have already developed enough of them and will be able to carry out such massive attacks on military facilities both in Crimea and in other cities of the Russian Federation. It was even talked about in the Russian publics. They are very afraid of this and understand that they are not capable of intercepting a large number of UAVs with which we can attack Russian military facilities. This can cause them great harm," he said.
