The northern part of Donetsk region will remain without water supply due to damage to two infrastructure facilities as a result of Russian shelling. It is currently difficult to say when the supply will be restored.
This was reported by Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
"On September 28, the Russians critically damaged two facilities of the "Donbas Water". Given the extensive damage, there is no technical capacity to restore the operation of the equipment," the official stated.
According to him, the towns of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Konstiantynivka and nearby settlements will face water supply issues. Approximately 260,000 people live in these areas.
