Andriy Yermak emphasizes the need to cut off Russia’s access to such parts in order to stop the killing of Ukrainians.

Indian components are being found in Russian attack drones, and it is essential to deprive Russia of the ability to acquire components from other countries.

This was reported by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

“Unfortunately, we are finding Indian components in Russian attack drones. These are drones used on the front lines and against civilians — in particular, Shahed/Geranium types. Russia must be deprived of the ability to obtain components from other countries, and the killings of Ukrainians must be stopped. Also, the purchase of Russian energy resources means financing the war, which does not contribute to peace,” Yermak wrote on Telegram on August 5.

Yermak attached a Hindustan Times article to his post, in which informed sources said that Ukraine had officially raised the issue with the governments of India and the European Union about the discovery of electronic components manufactured or assembled by Indian companies in Iranian-made drones used by Russian armed forces.
