In several regions of Ukraine, “Shahed” drones have been spotted carrying two cassettes with PTM-3 anti-tank mines under their wings. This presents a new threat to Ukraine.
This was reported by electronic warfare and communications systems specialist, head of the Center for Radiotechnologies, Serhiy Beskrestnov (callsign “Flash”), on Telegram.
“Unfortunately, we’re facing a new problem. Today, "Shaheds" carrying two cassettes with PTM-3 anti-tank mines under their wings were spotted in multiple regions. These mines have magnetic detonators and respond to nearby vehicles,” the expert stated.
“Flash” says that the enemy’s intention remains unclear — what exactly they intend to mine and why. It could be acts of terror on public roads, or an attempt to target Ukraine’s agricultural sector.
“I urge everyone to pay attention to such objects and, if found, do not approach them with vehicles,” the radiotechnology expert emphasized.
