Despite Russian president Vladimir Putin’s promise, 150 drone attacks were carried out overnight, targeting energy facilities and hospitals, among other sites.

This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.

"Even last night, after Putin’s conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, when Putin claimed he had supposedly ordered to stop strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, there were 150 drones overnight, including attacks on energy facilities. The strikes hit transportation, and unfortunately, two hospitals were affected, as well as regular urban infrastructure," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, Putin’s promises do not match his actions, underscoring Ukraine’s need for defensive support.

"In other words, Putin’s words starkly contradict reality. That’s why we need defensive support, support for our air defense, and pressure on Russia for the sake of security and saving people’s lives," the President explained.
