Invaders Hanged a Man from Kherson Region in His Own Yard, While Another Victim Was Tortured with Hot Iron

Kherson Regional Police is receiving more and more reports about torture of local residents by Russian military and security service officers.

In particular, the Russian troops broke into apartment of a 72-year-old man, searched for weapon and real estate title documents, tortured him with hot iron and fired guns near his ear. After the ordeal, the victim was detained and taken to an unknown location. 

In Kherson suburbs, the Russian troops abducted a local residence right from his workplace. Then man was blindfolded and taken to an unknown location.

More and more war crimes are discovered after liberation of towns and villages by Ukrainian troops.

In a village on Beryslav District, the Russian combatants deliberately murdered a local civilian. The victim was found hanged in his own yard. The invaders did not allowed the family members to bury him at the cemetery, so the victim was buried in the shallow grave in the backyard.

The police opened a criminal case under the Article 438 (Violation of Rules and Customs of War) to investigate the committed war crimes.
