Kyiv is not holding any secret negotiations with the aggressor country, Russia.

This was stated by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, on the morning program of the “ZDF” channel.

When asked by the moderator whether Ukraine is holding negotiations with Russia "behind closed doors", the Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave a brief answer: "No".

“There is no sense in holding any negotiations until Russia leaves Ukraine," Kuleba noted.

"If we translate it from diplomatic language to ordinary language, it means that Russia needs to leave Ukraine. Until this happens, until they are ready to do that, there is no sense in holding any negotiations," Kuleba stated.

Will Germany transfer Taurus missiles to Ukraine?

Kuleba also said that the question of providing long-range Taurus missiles, which Ukraine has been requesting from Germany since spring, "needs time."

"Ukraine has built trustworthy relationships with its partners, so they should not worry that the provided weapons will be used differently than they are requested to be used," he added.

Moreover, he stated that Kyiv does not feel a reduction in support from Western partners. However, he noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, there has been a decrease in media attention to the conflict in Ukraine.
