"It may be a step of desperation": the expert predicted the probability of a nuclear strike by Putin

There are no targets in Ukraine that could be hit with tactical nuclear weapons to influence the course of hostilities.

This was stated by political analyst and missile weapons expert Oleksandr Kochetkov during the national telethon. 

According to him, potential targets for a nuclear attack could be large concentrations of troops, equipment, significant fortifications, but we do not have any of the above, since "everything is dispersed".

"It is not possible [with nuclear weapons] to destroy all bridges. And even the destruction of bridges will not have a fundamental effect..." - the expert noted.

Therefore, in his opinion, the use of tactical nuclear weapons by Russia will not be able to change the course of military operations.
"All the sociology, which the Kremlin, by the way, knows, says that even an attempt of a tactical nuclear strike on Ukraine will not lead to capitulation... It could be an act of desperation... But then there is no guarantee that this command will be executed," summarized Oleksandr Kochetkov.
