"It’s Highly Likely”: OC “South” Warns that Russia May Prepare New Missile Strike

Russian invasion forces may be preparing for a new missile strike agaisnt Ukraine, as evidenced by enemy maneuvers in the Black Sea, as Natalia Humeniuk, the Head of Coordination Headquarters of Press Center of Ukrainian Southern Defence Forces, said during the national TV marathon

"At the moment, the enemy warship group continues to maneuvers and re-deployment. We observe that the total number of warships in the group has decreased. At the moment, 10 vessels are deployed, including one surface missile carrier, while the rest have entered their basing points, which may indicate some kind of preparation," Humeniuk explained.

According to her, this is not the first time the enemy has used such tactics. In addition, the current weather conditions at sea allow the inavders to keep their warships on combat duty, which may also indicate that Russia is preparing for a strike.

"They flex their muscles at sea for some time, demonstrate their presence and control of the situation, and then enter the basing points, usually preparing for maneuvers for a massive missile strike," Humeniuk noted.

When asked if the Russians were preparing for another missile strike, she replied: "It’s highly likely".
