Amidst the massive attacks by Russia, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges Western partners to provide more modern air defense systems.

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, said this in a comment to “Politico” ahead of the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting scheduled for January 10.

"First of all, we expect the meeting to accelerate the adoption of important decisions regarding the further strengthening of Ukraine's air defense capabilities. Both with regard to modern systems and their ammunition," he said.

Kuleba expressed gratitude to the allies for supporting Ukraine.

"We are deeply grateful to all our partners who continue to provide Ukraine with the means to protect its skies," he emphasized.
