Liberation of Crimea: Expert Names Types of Weapons Ukraine Needs to Win

Petro Chernyk, a military expert, believes that it is absolutely possible to liberate Crimea, but it will be difficult to achieve this without the weapons of the allies.

During the national TV marathon, Chernyk noted that we would need to fight for Crimea and explained what weapons would be needed for this.

"We need long-range missiles to completely knock out the logistics called the Crimean bridge. It requires high-quality NATO aircrafts. I remain an ardent supporter of American aviation systems, primarily the F-16. So, the bridge goes under water, and as many vehicles as possible completely close the Crimean peninsula in terms of bringing in various resources - Il-76, A-124. Indeed, it is a matter of time before the combatants and the entire population there are physically exhausted. Aviation must appear. We also need long-range missiles. Only the lazy have not talked about the long-range MGM-140 ATACMS missiles that will hit the Crimean bridge. Will they appear? In my opinion, aviation will be 100%. $100 million was allocated last year by Congress to train Ukrainian pilots. And they will definitely be implemented in a targeted manner. I cannot say when and how this ice will be broken, but it will happen," he said.
