Concrete decisions are needed to truly bring us closer to the Alliance. One such decision could undoubtedly be an invitation for Ukraine to join the North Atlantic Alliance.

This was stated by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, on the air of the telethon. He acknowledges that this is a very complex decision. The main argument with which Stefanchuk is going: Ukraine's accession to NATO will be beneficial not only for Ukraine.

"NATO will gain the most powerful and experienced army in Europe today," he noted.

He continues, the Ukrainian army fights with NATO weapons, adheres to NATO standards, and fulfills NATO's primary mission - it protects NATO's eastern flank from the invasion of Russia.

"If this is not a NATO army, then what is a NATO army? But Ukraine must receive support," Stefanchuk concluded.
