The fighting continues unabated: military reports alarming news about Chasiv Yar

The battle for Chasiv Yar continues with relentless intensity. Massive frontal assaults are ongoing, and the occupiers are trying to encircle the city from the northeast and south but have been unsuccessful in trapping Chasiv Yar.

This was reported by serviceman Kyrylo Sazonov.

"It started yesterday. We pushed the enemy out of the Kanal and the Novyi neighborhoods. Calling Novyi a neighborhood is an exaggeration, as it's a small "appendix." It's closer to the center of Chasiv Yar, which is important. Kanal is an almost destroyed area, gradually turning into a pile of bricks with a few high-rise buildings left. The enemy even hung their flag on one of them, mined it, and we shot it down with a drone. They are breaking through everywhere, attempting to infiltrate in small groups. The assaults vary. There are large assaults when they attack with armored vehicles, with infantry trying to bypass Chasiv Yar directly. They try to encircle from the north and south along the Bakhmut-Kostiantynivka highway. They haven’t succeeded in a pincer movement on the city. Over the past week, there have been so many attacks that there hasn’t been a moment without a fight somewhere," he said.
