Mariupol is Mostly Controlled by So-Called “Volunteers” from Russia – Mayor’s Adviser

These details were reported by Petro Andriushchenko, the Adviser to the Mayor of Mariupol, in his Facebook post.

“Yesterday (on May 17th – ed.), after the visit of Chechen diaspora representatives, the invaders completed rotation of so-called “volunteers”. This is a curious detail, which barely can be regarded as a simple  coincidence. We continue to observe unusual political processes inside the Russia-controlled city. The invaders do not trust even the local collaborators. This is another proof that the Russians treat these collaborators as a mere “expense product” and will easily dispose of them immediately after attempted annexation / integration with Russia”, Andriushchenko explained.

He also added that his contacts in Mariupol shared with him several video records of conversations between the invaders and the local collaborators explaining the true role of so-called “volunteers”: disposal of animal dead bodies scattered on the streets.
