In total, the attack involved 5 Kh-101/Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles and 53 "Shahed" drones.

Unfortunately, there was some destruction. An industrial facility caught fire in Kyiv region. The area was under attack by drones and missiles throughout the night. The air raid alert lasted for 4 hours, and air defense forces operated in the region.

Monitoring public channels reported that "Shaheds" were seen over the region all night. Several drones were successfully shot down.

What did the enemy hit?

Against the backdrop of ongoing power outages across the country, there was immediate concern online about whether the enemy targeted another energy facility. The Ministry of Energy later commented, stating that although the enemy's main goal was a total blackout in Ukraine, the energy infrastructure was not damaged during the night of June 7.

According to the Air Force, the enemy attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles from several different directions. Air defense forces were shooting down enemy aerial targets in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions. Besides Kyiv, Chuhuiv in Kharkiv region was also targeted. Fortunately, the drone simply hit the ground there, but its fragments damaged everything around.

"Chuhuiv. As a result of the UAV hitting the ground, a car, a fence, a water pipe, windows of a nine-story and a five-story building, an outpatient clinic, a store, a branch of Ukrposhta and an auto repair shop were damaged," Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported.
