The United States does not anticipate any decisive decisions regarding inviting Ukraine to join NATO.

Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, explained in an interview with "24 Kanal" what this decision might depend on.

"We can talk about whether "we see Ukraine there or not." That is not what it depends on - not words. The escalation is ongoing. A year ago, if we had said on air that European countries would grant permissions for strikes on Russian territory, how would people have looked at us? They would have said it's fantasy, not worth discussing. What about today? Two years ago, when we asked, "Could you give us HIMARS?" Do you remember the hysteria? "No, that's impossible." Today, it's clear that HIMARS will strike Russian territory because it's the right thing to do. It’s historically determined and inevitable. The same will happen with NATO and everything else. I am curious whether the administrations of the United States or European presidents are truly interested in being perpetually at war, increasing security expenditures, and dealing with large-scale terrorism issues," he said.
