Russia spent millions of dollars on the attack on Dnipro on July 3. The military criminals used "Iskanders", Kh-59/69 missiles, and "Shahed-131/136" strike drones. Additionally, the occupiers launched an "Orlan-10" reconnaissance drone.

Military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko wrote about this on his social media page.

According to him, the occupiers' reconnaissance drone was shot down too late during the attack. It was conducting reconnaissance and correcting the strikes, which led to the tragedy.

"It is worth noting that today was an extremely rare occasion when the Russian Armed Forces used their "Shahed-131/136" during the day. It can also be said that this was the most massive combined strike on a Ukrainian city that is not the capital in the last few months. And now for the most unpleasant part. The strike was made possible due to the presence of a Russian reconnaissance UAV over Dnipro. I am sure that this evening or tomorrow we will see publications of these strikes in real-time on Russian public platforms. The reason? Dnipro is not covered by a layered air defense system. We currently have few means to intercept compact aerial objects," Oleksandr Kovalenko emphasized.

At the same time, the city is not covered by electronic warfare systems that could "suppress" drones.
