The occupying army of Russia shells Vovchansk in Kharkiv region with heavy flamethrower systems TOS-2 "Solntsepyok" using thermobaric munitions, as well as frequently using guided aerial bombs.
Spokesman of the Operational Strategic Grouping of Troops "Khortytsia," Nazar Voloshin said this on the air of the telethon.
"Most of the city is controlled by Ukrainian Defense Forces. The enemy combines ground assaults with air strikes to achieve success. The enemy also strikes Vovchansk with thermobaric munitions, destroying buildings and civilian infrastructure in their path," the military representative says.
According to Voloshyn, the occupiers mainly try to break through with assault units supported by equipment. This includes lightly armored vehicles, golf carts, buggies and cross-country motorcycles.
"If the groups reach their destination point, they try to secure it. If they fail, it’s a "one-way ticket" for them: they remain there because our Defense Forces destroy them," Nazar Voloshyn said.
