Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin and his henchmen make absolutely no secret of their plans to regain control over Eastern European countries, including Berlin. This was stated on the air of the “Espresso” TV channel by military expert and spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2014 - 2017, Vladyslav Seleznyov, emphasizing that the Ukrainian army defends not only Ukraine's security.

He emphasizes that it is no coincidence our German partners have significantly intensified their efforts to strengthen the military component.

"Everyone understands that if the enemy does not receive a significant defeat in Ukraine, then they will work to gain control over the Baltic states, Moldova, and then move to the West - to Poland, Germany," Seleznyov noted.

He also talks about the fact that the ratio of forces and resources is definitely not in our favor.

"The fact that we lack shells can be seen from our statistics. For every Ukrainian shell fired on the battlefield, there are 5-7 enemy shells. Therefore, the balance of forces and means is definitely not in our favor. This happened because between August and October, we received 90% less military-technical assistance compared to a similar period last year. The volumes of military support from our partners are decreasing," the expert said. In particular, partners delay providing military aid for a number of reasons. However, they are insufficient to stop the supply of weapons and military equipment for the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.

"Because the Ukrainian army is currently defending not only the security of Ukraine. Our soldiers are defending the safe space of at least the eastern part of Europe," Seleznyov stressed.
