The situation in the city after the overnight attack remains serious but under control.

Head of the City Defense Council Oleksandr Vilkul said that a command center was active throughout the night, with rescuers, energy and heating workers, utility services, and officials at all levels participating. Work to eliminate the aftermath is ongoing around the clock.

“Yesterday afternoon and evening, the enemy launched one of the largest combined attacks on Kryvyi Rih since the start of the full-scale invasion. The assault targeted several locations in the city. As of this morning, two of the eight hospitalized people remain in care, with moderate and stable conditions. Thankfully, all are alive,” Vilkul said.

The electricity situation remains most severe in the Inhulets district and parts of the Metallurgical and Dovhyntsivskyi districts. Emergency power cuts currently affect 29,360 households. Energy crews worked through the night and continue restoring the network.

Water supply in the southern part of the city is being maintained using generators, and the situation is stable.

More than 30 boiler plants, including major ones, were shut down by the attacks. As of this morning, all are operating normally except for one in the Inhulets district, which is running on a generator, with heating only just being restored. Bursts in the network caused by water hammering have been reported across the city.

Hospitals continue to operate on backup power. All “Points of Invincibility” are functioning and ready to switch to generators at the first sign of need.

Electric public transport in the Inhulets district has been restored and is now running across the city. Schools and kindergartens in the area have been temporarily switched to remote learning.

Air defense forces shot down 31 enemy drones in the region overnight. In Kryvyi Rih district, attacks damaged infrastructure and caused fires. In Nikopol district, the enemy shelled communities with heavy artillery and FPV drones, with no casualties reported.
