"Only USA has this weapon": An expert names a serious threat to Ukraine
Among the assistance sent by the USA, there was also intelligence on missile launches from Russia targeting Ukraine.

Amid speculations in the information space that U.S. military support might be limited or stopped, former spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military expert Vladyslav Seleznyov, shared his opinion with TSN.ua on whether Europe could compensate for the scale of American support.
Since the start of Russia's full-scale war, the USA has been providing Ukraine not only with equipment and ammunition but also with intelligence on missile launches by Russia. This means that Ukraine has been receiving alerts about threats, such as ballistic missile strikes, thanks to the USA.
The list of weapons provided by the USA is quite extensive. Some of the recent military aid packages included the following:
⦁ Ammunition for HIMARS rocket artillery systems;
⦁ Artillery ammunition of 155mm and 105mm calibers;
⦁ Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
⦁ Ammunition for NASAMS air defense systems;
⦁ Drones;
⦁ Counter-drone equipment;
⦁ Stinger missiles;
⦁ Small arms and ammunition;
⦁ Anti-personnel mines;
⦁ Equipment and ammunition for demolition work;
⦁ Equipment for the protection of critical national infrastructure;
⦁ Anti-aircraft missiles and supplies for air defense;
⦁ Bradley infantry fighting vehicles;
⦁ M113 armored personnel carriers;
⦁ MRAP transporters;
⦁ Grenades;
⦁ Naval training equipment;
⦁ Patrol boats;
⦁ Spare parts, auxiliary equipment, training;
⦁ Light tactical transport;
⦁ Equipment for F-16 fighters.
Additionally, from time to time, air defense systems like Patriot and NASAMS have been included in aid packages.
According to Vladyslav Seleznyov, the process of halting military aid provided by Biden is not quick, but if the new American administration is seriously intent on limiting assistance, Ukraine could face difficulties.
"Europe is unable to replace 30% of the total aid provided by the USA. We should not deceive ourselves with illusions. Military-technical support from the U.S. government is critically important for us. Of course, we will not stop fighting, but the loss of such a huge resource would be significant for us," the analyst says.
Seleznyov points out that among the weapons provided by the USA to Ukraine, many items are not produced in Europe.
"For example, when it comes to basic positions, such as 155mm shells, can Europe fully compensate if the U.S. government stops supplying these shells? No. There are many problems," the expert clarifies.
He continues: "If 30% of military-technical assistance from the USA is stopped, it will lead to a collapse of aid from others, including European countries. In total, we may lose up to 60% of military-technical support."
If Hungary blocks aid from Europe
To this question, the expert answers: "We must understand that the supply of weapons and military equipment does not always come from collective Europe - it is a matter of bilateral agreements. As for technical and financial assistance coming through collective Europe, an uncompromising position, particularly from Hungary, could create serious problems for us."
Air raid alerts and ballistic threats
On air raid alerts and missile threats, Seleznyov states: "Satellite imagery, information from satellite networks, is critically important for us. Satellites, in real-time, detect launches, and accordingly, we receive operational intelligence from our American partners."
According to Seleznyov, this principle is used to track the takeoffs and movements of all Russian aircraft.
"Such capabilities are only available in the USA," the expert concludes.
