True peace is possible only after the complete collapse of the Russian regime. Otherwise, it will merely be a temporary pause, threatening not only Ukraine but also the Baltic countries.

The complete dissolution of the Russian Federation as a political regime is the only way to guarantee long-term peace in Ukraine and Europe. All other scenarios are merely a temporary pause before a new war.
This was stated by Maksym Zhorin, Deputy Commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, in an interview with Focus.
«I believe that true victory can only be discussed in the case of the complete dissolution of the Russian Federation as a political regime. Only in such a case can we hope for long-term peace, stability, and the building of a normal unsatisfied. In all other scenarios, there will only be a pause — and this pause will affect not only Ukraine but also other countries, such as the Baltics,» he noted.
Regarding the duration of a potential freezing of the war, Zhorin emphasizes that it depends on the international situation and the positions of key players.
«Everything depends on the global situation because, whether we like it or not, much in this matter depends on the positions of Russia, the USA, the EU, and China. The duration of this pause will largely depend on who, and how quickly, will recover or, conversely, attempt to disrupt these intentions,» the officer said.
