The Ukrainian Armed Forces are most in need of modern specialized equipment — drones and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
This was stated by Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Zhorin, Deputy Commander of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, in an interview with Focus, responding to a question about what weapons the Ukrainian army currently needs the most.
Zhorin emphasizes that these technologies (drones and EW systems) are now among the primary means of inflicting damage and ensuring protection.
«Other types of equipment, such as artillery, are gradually losing their key role, as drones are increasingly displacing traditional means of warfare,» he explained.
