"The enemy isn't counting on instigating a popular protest in our country," the analyst believes.

The Russian government hopes to orchestrate a coup in Ukraine, but it's not about a popular uprising - it's not “Maidan-3”. The opponent refers to the change in power in our country as “denazification” by force and aims to establish a puppet regime, a plan that failed in March of last year.
This was revealed by military expert, co-director of foreign policy programs, and coordinator of international projects at the Razumkov Center, Oleksiy Melnyk, in an interview with “Obozrevatel.”
"...So far in Russia they are hoping that they will be able to incite some internal objective or subjective protest moods and thereby organize a coup. I do not share the definition that the President (Volodymyr Zelenskyy, — Ed.) said about "Maidan-3", although perhaps it is some kind of code name. This is not "Maidan", not a popular protest, but rather an attempted coup," the interlocutor stated.
