“A strategic problem is impending": a military expert on the situation at the front
The main problem is that the Russians are trying to buy time for preparation.
Russian army
Russia intends to reformat personnel troops and increase their combat capability. This aspect must be taken into account.
Defense Express military expert Ivan Kyrychevsky said this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.
“Considering the tactical situation, it's crucial to take into account the strategic problem that is impending,” he said.
They are following the old script.
As the expert notes, the occupiers are increasingly exploiting the so-called “Storm-Z” for infantry assaults.
Thanks to this, the aggressor's army managed to recover. The identical situation was with the "Wagner" PMC. Back then, the invaders, to some extent, were able to save their regular army, recover from the defeats in 2022, and prepare for the 2023 campaign.
"The Russians have engaged in this “game”, using assault troops and mercenaries to wear down our troops and train their personnel," he said.
According to Kyrychevsky, the Russians are currently trying to buy time.
