This statement was made by Viktor Yahun, former Deputy Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine (2014-2015), Reserve Major General of the Security Service, a military and public figure, during an interview on Espresso TV.
He says that for him, Ukraine does not exist as a state, similarly to Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, and so on. The expert also emphasizes the danger of Russia using nuclear weapons on the territory it unlawfully annexed.
In particular, Putin would like to make Ukraine a landlocked and completely controlled state.
"They are currently emphasizing that military actions are ongoing on the territory of Russia. According to their legislation, all occupied lands are now theirs. Why have they included these territories? Not only to lay claim to our territory but also to be able to use domestic legislation on the territory of military operations, to use conscripts, to use tactical nuclear weapons. After all, they state that in defense of their sovereignty, they emphasize that we have not attacked anyone, our military actions are taking place within the territory of the Russian Federation. It's such an absurdity now, but they live and believe in it," the Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine summarized.
At the same time, another expert says that the Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin and his henchmen do not hide their plans to regain control over Eastern European countries, including Berlin.
