Qatar helped Ukraine to return four children who were illegally taken to the territory of the Russian Federation.

Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets announced this on the air of the united telethon.

According to him, a significant number of countries are willing to help Ukraine in bringing the children back home. However, Qatar is the only country that has demonstrated results so far.

"I hope that in the future, we will be able to show new results of our joint work. Perhaps some other country can demonstrate specific results. By the way, we discussed with Qatar not only the return of children but also a broader range of protection of the rights of Ukrainian citizens," emphasized Dmytro Lubinets.

He also added that discussions with Russia regarding the return of children home are ongoing, but the military thieves are trying to complicate this process.

"We had quite difficult communication through intermediaries. Russia wants to delay these processes - they additionally want to look at something, check documents, establish family ties," Lubinets emphasized.
