The relocation of the MiGs to Belarus could also be an attempt by the Russians to safeguard aircraft that are always at risk on Russian airfields. However, there are other theories as well.

This was stated by Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko.

"However, we should not dismiss the theories involving provocations, especially after the strike by a Russian "Shahed" near Mozyr, where the refinery is located. This strike coincidentally became public, is located. It became clear that Russia may be preparing a provocation against Belarus," Kovalenko noted.
