The publication Corriere Della Sera released an article claiming that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy might be open to a ceasefire along the frontline in exchange for certain commitments from the West. However, this has been denied by his Office.

This was reported to TSN.ua by the Presidential Office.

"We have a Peace Formula. It clearly outlines how Ukraine envisions a just peace. Negotiations with partners are ongoing to strengthen Ukraine's position based on this. The Victory Plan, which will be presented to the UK, France, Italy and Germany in the coming days, serves as a tool to advance the implementation of the Peace Formula," the Office of the President reported.

The authors of the article state that Zelenskyy is currently seeking to convince Europeans on a political level. He understands that he can never officially renounce the occupied territories, as this would be very unpopular for any Ukrainian politician.

"However, he would be ready for a ceasefire along the current line - without recognizing a new official border - in exchange for certain commitments from the West. Firstly, security guarantees from the United States similar to those provided to Japan, South Korea and the Philippines. Additionally, from Rome, Paris and Berlin, Zelenskyy would seek assurances regarding Ukraine's swift accession to the European Union, which would provide a growth horizon for the country," the article states.
