Russia Does Not Want Peace with Ukraine: British Embassy about Morning Missile Strike

The UK Embassy responded to the Russian missile strike against Ukraine on December 29th. British Ambassador Melinda Simmons believes that “Russia does not want peace with Ukraine, Russia wants the subjugation of Ukraine”.

In her recent tweet, the diplomat stressed that by attacking Ukraine, Russian demonstrated its true intention to continue aggression against Ukrainians. 

"Russian missiles launched across Ukraine including Kyiv and Lviv. Civilians injured. Russia rejects Zelenskyi’s peace plan. Russia does not want peace with Ukraine. Russia wants the subjugation of Ukraine", her tweet reads.
