Russia Has Admitted that Illegally Constructed Crimea Bridge Is Used for Military Purpose

Russia has essentially admitted that illegally constructed Crimea Bridge, where major explosion happened on October 8th, is used for military purpose. In particular, the Russian State Duma accused Ukraine of sabotage intended to “create barriers in deployment of Russian troops” in Kherson Region, as Russian propagandist news outlet TASS reports.

"The purpose of Ukrainian sabotage at the Crimea Bridge is to create barriers in deployment of Russian troops for reinforcement of our defence positions in Kherson Region”, Yurii Afonin, the First Deputy Head of the State Duma’s Security and Anti-Corruption Committee, said. Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry if Defence claimed that invasion army troops deployed in Mykolaiv-Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia operational areas received “full, complete and uninterrupted logistic support”.
