Russia has realized that single “Shahed” strikes will not bring them any benefit. Therefore, recently they have begun targeted attacks on cities with a large number of drones.

Military expert Oleh Zhdanov said this in a comment to TSN.ua.

For example, on the night of February 12-13, Russia attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with about 20 drones. An energy and infrastructure facility was hit. Many residents were temporarily left without electricity, water, and heating. Prior to that, Russia had terrorized Kharkiv and Odesa.

“The fewer “Shaheds” we have in the air, the easier it is to shoot them down. Therefore, when they launch, for example, 17-20 drones, they try to concentrate them on a specific object. When the number of “Shaheds” is 40-45, they are dispersed throughout the territory of Ukraine, aiming at various objects. These are separate groups of 5-10 “Shaheds.” This is a pure lottery for us. Because either you need to have agents in the Russian General Staff to understand when and where the next strike will be. Or you just have to be prepared that the “Shaheds” will spread out in the airspace of our country or will purposefully attack one object," the military expert said.
