Russia has concentrated its best forces in one direction: details from the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Russian army has concentrated its best forces in the Pokrovsk direction.

This was stated by Ivan Tymochko, Head of the Council of Reservists of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a broadcast on the "Espreso" TV channel.

According to him, the focus of the Russian offensive will still be toward Kurakhove and the Kurakhove Reservoir.

"It was assumed that after the enemy occupies Vuhledar, they will most likely regroup their forces there, looking for places to concentrate or disperse personnel and equipment directly in Vuhledar, and conduct additional activities," he noted.

However, he added that the Pokrovsk direction has been identified by Putin as a priority for the offensive of Russian troops at this stage.

"Everyone understands that the loss of Vuhledar was deeply painful for both the Ukrainian military and the population, just as the loss of every settlement where there is a loss of human life. Therefore, of course, in this direction, they will try to achieve not only military results but also exert informational pressure. Moreover, they have concentrated their best forces there, the most capable in the theater of operations in Ukraine," the message says.

At the same time, he emphasizes that currently, "our brothers are capturing Russian soldiers" in the Pokrovsk direction.

"They say they joined the Russian army one or two months ago. This means that the Russians are pulling in everything they can, often not giving the soldiers the opportunity to prepare or adapt to the army. They sign a contract, go through basic training, and then they're already in Pokrovsk. Meanwhile, they are sending conscripts to Kursk region," he added.
