Russia Has Hurled All Efforts into Securing Luhansk Region – Haidai

The Russian troops attempt to break through the Ukrainian defense line in Luhansk Region, while totally destroying local towns and villages, as Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reports.

“They use the so-called Kadyrov Squads, the regular troops from some remote regions of Zabaykalsky Territory. Essentially, the soldiers from all over the Russian Federation are fighting here. They also brought in Panzir, S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft system. In Sievierodonetsk, they follow the “scorched earth” tactics: every single inch is heavily shelled. They barrage the city from “Grad” MRLS, mortars, tank cannons. Their troops simply rush forwards and crash the nearest buildings, fire their rounds and move further”, Haidai explained.

The Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration emphasizes that the Russian troops deliberately destroy the capital of Ukraine-controlled part of the region through continuous shelling. Sievierodonetsk is essentially being razed to the ground.
