Ukrainian air defence units have already destroyed 70 drones from the second batch received by Russia from Iran.
Russia has already received the second batch of Iranian Shahed kamikaze-drones of around 250 units, while the first batch consisted of around 400 UAVs. The Armed Forces of Ukrainian have already destroyed some drones from the second shipment, as Yurii Ihnat, the Spokesman of the AFU Air Force Command said during the national TV marathon.
"Drones from the new batch have been used in four waves of attacks the last week and the week and the week before last. Around 70 UAV from the new batch have been successfully destroyed by our air defence units. Still, the enemy has more drones in stock, therefore we have to prepare for future attacks and reinforce our air defence capabilities, especially at the critical infrastructure facilities,” Ihnat said.
According to him, Russia’s goal №1 is Kyiv and critical infrastructure facilities around the capital city.
