Ukraine has evidence of the Russian occupiers' intentions to strike three of our nuclear power plants ahead of winter.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a UN Security Council meeting.

The Head of State said that Ukraine has proof of Russia's preparations for an attack on Ukrainian energy, specifically targeting three nuclear power plants.

"Now, with the approach of the third winter of this war, Russia is once again trying to destroy our energy infrastructure, and this autumn they are acting even more cynically. They are preparing to attack our nuclear power plants; we have this information and evidence. If Russia is willing to go this far, it means that nothing you value, matters to Moscow. This type of Russian cynicism will continue to strike if given any space in the world," the President emphasized.

Zelenskyy reminds that Putin has violated so many international norms and rules, that the dictator will not stop on his own. Russia can only be compelled to peace.

"And this is what is needed – to force Russia to peace as the only aggressor in this war, the only violator of the UN Charter," the Head of State concluded.
