Russia is introducing USSR economics, including an unregulated work schedule for the benefit of the “state and leader”

Putin is shifting Russian economics in the military direction. To do this, the government duma is preparing to pass a law under which every business will be obligated to carry out tasks given by the army and special services.

Russia is introducing USSR economics, including an unregulated work schedule for the benefit of the “state and leader”

The law forbids refusing to work for the government and includes an obligation to work for citizens, in a way resurrecting the Soviet Union, reports TSN.

In order to continue the invasion of Ukraine, Russia is entering a state of economic mobilization. The peacetime state of the economy is no longer able to satiate the war hunger of the Kremlin.

However, Putin does not want to acknowledge what comes after milking dry every business in the country.

Moscow needs to replenish its supply of cannon fodder, which is being buried by Russian generals in the fields of Ukraine. However, it is important for new cannon fodder candidates to be unaware of their situation. Information about a hidden recruitment has begun to surface from almost every region, so the “Solovievs” of Russian propaganda have already begun the campaign to convince their audience that it will be impossible to protect the empire without mobilization.

The Russian government is no longer hiding that it is doing everything for victory in the war in Ukraine, which instead of 3 days has been lasting for 4 months with no blitzkrieg in sight. The troops are running out of rations, the boots have become worn, the armoured vehicles have been burned by “angry ukros”. In addition, there are sanctions, which Putin’s inner circle is calling a Russian genocide.

Financial limitations of the civilised world have truly turned out to be a noose for the aggressor. The information about the reactivation of old industrial plants is testament to a lack of military vehicles and spare parts. Directors of repair facilities are en masse refusing to accept more battered tanks, trucks and APCs. Lastly, the decision about compulsory voluntary help for business means that Russians are wanting war, but are doing nothing for it.

There is no money, but keep holding on – this is the new economic theory in Russia. However, not everything is so clear-cut – this year, Russia may earn more off oil than last year. How long this will last is to be determined by G7 negotiations, in which a mechanism for limiting the price of oil is being discussed. In practice, this step will mean that the Kremlin will no longer be able to make super-profits through oil sales, which are currently funding Putin’s military gambles.

Furthermore, the sixth pack of sanctions of the EU involves a ban on ensuring ships carrying Russian oil. Without this insurance, EU, US and UK private ships will immediately leave the Russian market. This sends an important signal, given that 70 percent of Russian oil is being exported by ships from these countries. The Kremlin has realised that the plan “B” is the resurrection of the Soviet Union, when everyone and everything work only for the party, the state and the leader.

Such a signal is very positive, as this is effectively a collapse of Russia. Firstly, the income will decrease, then there will be an injustice in the sharing of what remains between the centre and the “periphery regions”, followed by an internal conflict between the robbed federations. A mobilized economy is like this, and not like a normal economy.
