Enemy propaganda resources are spreading disinformation claiming that Ukrainian troops are transporting military cargo to the storage facilities of one of Kharkiv's power substations. The fake reports assert that the supply takes place at night, and that the facility is supposedly guarded 24/7 by a militarized security force.

This warning comes from the Center for Countering Disinformation.

Such “disinformation” could signal that Russia is preparing new attacks on the city’s energy infrastructure. As before, the enemy is attempting to create an informational justification for strikes on civilian facilities by labeling them as “military targets” in advance.

This tactic is not new. Recently, the occupiers also spread fake information about supposed preparations by Ukrainian forces for provocations in Mykolaiv, aiming to blame Russia for attacks on energy infrastructure.

These actions are part of Russia’s broader informational campaign aimed at misleading the international community and absolving itself of responsibility for violating agreements regarding a ceasefire on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
