The Russian occupiers are preparing to intensify their assaults in three directions in Zaporizhzhia region.

This was stated by Spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn, "RBC-Ukraine" reports.

According to him, the most intense areas remain the Orikhiv and Novopavlivka fronts. The situation is also "tense" in the area of Huliaipole and Malynivka, where constant enemy shelling is taking place.

Intelligence data indicates that the enemy has gathered a certain amount of personnel and equipment in these three directions (Orikhiv, Novopavlivka, and Huliaipole) in preparation to intensify their assault actions in the coming days.

“They’ve concentrated both assault personnel and a considerable amount of equipment there, including armored combat vehicles, a large number of motorcycles, and light motor vehicles,” Voloshyn said.

The spokesman notes that during assaults, the Russians use motorcycles, buggies, and quad bikes to quickly reach Ukrainian trenches, fortifications, and defense lines. Such vehicles are harder to hit while in motion than infantrymen.

“Every day in our area of responsibility, we destroy about two dozen of these motorcycles, up to ten buggies, and various quad bikes,” the Southern Defense Forces’ spokesman says.

According to him, Russian forces are losing about 100 occupiers daily in the south.
