The aggressor is going to bring at least 150 repair engineers from Belarus with experience of working at Belorussian nuclear power plants to the temporarily seized Zaporizhzhia NPP, Enerhoatom reports.

According to the experts, the Russian invaders have failed to establish cooperation with Ukrainian nuclear engineers. Therefore, the enemy wants to recruit Belarusian personnel to quickly repair the damage caused by artillery strikes launched by the Russian Armed Forces as part of the false-flag operations.

"Russians are trying to recruit 150 Belarusian repairmen to work at ZNPP. The invaders are still looking for personnel to operate the plant in an attempt to somehow manage it. Therefore, there is a possibility that the invaders will bring about 150 repair specialists who worked at the Belarusian NPP to the Ukrainian nuclear facility," the statement reads.

Enerhoatom adds that even despite promises and threats, the invaders have failed to recruit enough qualified personnel to work at ZNPP, which is currently illegally seized by the Russians and is used for storage of military equipment and weapon.

"Even though they have tried all available methods ranging from promising “mountains and marvels” to intimidation and abuse, the plant is desperately lacking qualified personnel to operate it," Enerhoatom’s statement reads.
