The West Should Help Ukraine and Assemble a Brigade of Tanks at Any Cost

Therefore, the allies should assemble a brigade of Leopard 2 tanks for Kyiv, as Polish President Andrzej Duda says according to Ukrinform.

"Poland believes that it is necessary to help Ukrainian defenders at any cost, and therefore we urge our allies to provide this assistance (Leopard 2 tanks - ed.) to Ukraine," Duda said.

He reminded that the relevant decisions were made by the British government and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Duda hopes that the allies will be able to assemble more tanks for Ukraine.

"Undoubtedly, in the face of such a huge mass of Russian troops, Ukraine today needs modern equipment so that Ukraine's defenders can cope with the crucial task of repelling another Russian offensive," the Polish leader said.

He expressed hope that Ukraine would receive Leopard 2 tanks not only from Poland, but that the allies would be able to assemble a brigade of these tanks for Ukraine.
