The President noted that "Russia's offensive has been stopped" and its army "is in the process of losing a large number of vital forces."
The Ukrainian army managed to stop the advance of the Russian invaders, so the situation has become much better.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with BFM TV.
According to the Head of State, the situation at the front is much better "than in the last three months."
"We had difficulties due to the lack of artillery ammunition, the air blockade, Russian long-range weapons, and the high concentration of Russian drones," Zelenskyy said.
However, he warned that such statements may lose their relevance "in a month or a week" if our country does not receive sufficient aid.
While commenting on the situation around Avdiivka, the President said that the Russians did not capture it, but simply destroyed it, and then entered.
In this regard, the Head of State drew attention to Russia's superiority in long-range weapons and called on Western countries to provide such weapons.
