In the night of October 11, Russian military forces attacked Ukraine with an “Iskander-M” ballistic missile, an Kh-31P guided aviation missile, and 66 drones. Air defense forces destroyed 29 attack drones.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians launched the “Iskander” from the temporarily annexed Crimea, the Kh-31P missile from the airspace over the Black Sea, and the drones from Russian Kursk.
"As of 11:00, as a result of air defense operation, 29 enemy drones were shot down in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr regions," the report stated.
In addition, 31 drones were lost in various regions of Ukraine. This likely occurred due to active electronic warfare measures. Two attack drones returned towards Russia.
